Mak Levin

Mak comes from a fitness and education background. He was formerly a sports coach for Bee In Motion, instructing youth to better themselves through movement. He held outdoor training sessions in Central Park, helping young athletes improve motor skills and conditioning in their specific sport while also building their confidence and self-esteem. Mak has worked as a swim instructor for all ages and levels at the McBurney YMCA for the past 10 years.

Before shifting his focus to UX/UI design, Mak was a teacher assistant and a substitute teacher for the DoE. He ran afterschool programs and coached both soccer and basketball. In his free time, Mak enjoys working out as well as getting outside to explore what New York City has to offer. Even though he grew up in NYC, Mak believes there’s always new paths to discover. Using his jack-of-all-trades mindset, he currently tries to solve everyday problems as a UX /UI designer.
