Memorial Day Weekend is almost upon us! Below are some of our favorites and destinations you should see and experience! Plus, when you join our Scavenger, you’ll be able to support these destinations in multiple ways and earn prizes, all while experiencing the Hamptons as you may never have before!

Guild Hall

Another destination to explore during our Hamptons Memorial Day Scavenger is Guild Hall! Located in East Hampton Village, Guild Hall is home to a museum, theater, and education space! The architecture and the art within Guild Hall are beautiful. It is truly a Hampton’s must-see. Not to mention, their youth programming for teens and younger and their outdoor concerts are must experiences! Can’t make it in person? Experience their exhibitions and collections online!

Madoo Conservancy

Madoo Conservancy in Sagaponack is one of the Hamptons’ best-kept secrets in the Hamptons. Take a trip to this hidden gem 💎 during our Memorial Day Scavenger out east, and experience Mother Nature in a colorful way like you’ve never seen! Remember to reserve a tour time before you go— they’re open memorial Day Sunday from 10 am-2 pm on Sunday just for us!

Bridgehampton Museum and The Corwith House

Take a walkthrough of Hampton’s history this Memorial Day Weekend by visiting the Corwith House in Bridgehampton! The Corwith House is home to the headquarters of the Bridgehampton Museum, an exhibition gallery with a historic textile collection and various artifacts, making it a fascinating destination to add to your list of places to explore during our Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend Scavenger Hunt! And be sure to capture a selfie with the tractor they’re pulling out for our Scavenger participants!:)

Montauk Lighthouse and Museum

Prepare to be amazed by the Montauk Point Lighthouse at Camp Hero. As the first lighthouse in New York State, the Montauk Point Lighthouse is a sight to see with breathtaking views, an interactive museum, and beautiful grounds! Be sure to book your tickets in advance!

Southampton History Museum

The Southampton History Museum maintains several sites throughout Southampton that contribute to the history of the area. The Rogers Mansion and Complex comprises 12 structures, including an 1843 mansion, schoolhouse, barn & several shops from a silversmith to a carpenter to a general store, etc. It is a great place to take the family and walk the grounds. The buildings have all been restored and are a window into the past life of Southampton. Unable to join in person, there are also online exhibits for those wanting to explore from home!

Bridge Gardens

Whether you have a green thumb or not, you’ll love Bridge Gardens! With many things to do, like birdwatching, photography, nature study & gardening, Bridge Gardens is a great place to explore during our Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend Scavenger! They’ll be running a scavenger within our scavenger, so jump in and see if you can find all of the items on their grounds!!

The Montauk Indian Museum

Because of this rich pre-history, the Montauk Historical Society has created a museum to preserve and present the history of the original inhabitants of the land to the public. The Montauk Indian Museum will help visitors understand the evolution of tools and how Native Americans used high levels of skill and indigenous materials to survive for many thousands of years before the arrival of Europeans.

Through workshops, lectures, films, and displays, visitors are offered opportunities to explore early Native American life, emphasizing skills and materials used in our area, a chance to see Montauk through ancient eyes. They will be open Memorial Day Weekend for us! So be sure to visit!

The East Hampton Library

The East Hampton Library on Main Street is a destination for the books! From reading material & children’s book clubs to Library Escape Rooms & young adult photo contests, the East Hampton Library is a beautiful place to explore. Stop by on during our Hamptons Memorial Day Weekend Scavenger, find some fun summer reading, and join if you haven’t already! Or visit their online catalog from home!

Children’s Museum of the East End!

With a ton of interactive art exhibits and a brand new mini-golf course, this Bridgehampton gem offers kid-friendly fun that your whole family will enjoy! Be sure to book tickets in advance to reserve your spot, or if you need to visit from home, you can do that as well! CMEE has a great selection of at-home content that is sure to please.

Sag Harbor Whaling Museum!

Ahoy!!! Ready for the Exploring Paths Memorial Day Weekend Scavenger? If you’re participating out east, add the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum as one of your destinations! With boatloads of photos and memorabilia, you’re sure to have a ‘Whaley’ great time! Plus, you can choose the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum to be the organization you give back to when you upgrade! Make sure to reserve time in advance online!
